Tailor-made carbon fibres allow the ski to be adapted to exactly the things it’s going to be used for. The strength and alignment of the fibres define the force you need to apply and the energy that builds up in exactly the right places, which means agile shovel reaction with a precise response the moment you initiate a turn. When you steer it, the GS feels ultra-precise and controlled, and you need less power to do so. Its characteristics are due to a discreetly shortened and flattened tip rocker and, most especially, its changed geometry, whose radius has been reduced by two metres. A narrower waist means more dynamic skiing and faster edge changes. Not only that, but the Racetiger GS is now available under 170 cm long – 168 cm to be precise.

Tailored Carbon Tips: In this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. The stiffness, torsion and thus the skiing characteristics can be specifically adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment. In this way, the fibers guide the dynamics to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy.
Full Titanal: The titanium setup makes the ski agile and dynamic. Especially friends of a hard, fast and aggressive riding style benefit from the quick response of this construction.
Volkl 3D Glass: Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.
Tip Rocker: Only bends upwards in the shovel area, while the middle and tail of the ski feature a camber shape to ensure added control and comfort in varying conditions.
The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood around.
